Our story began in Australia in 1994 with our founder Megan Wynne's passion for helping others and making a difference in the world.

APM initially started by offering rehabilitation services to companies in Western Australia and has grown to become an international provider of employment, disability, assessment, health and injury management services in more than 400 locations across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

To date APM has assisted close to a million people.

What we do

APM has been operating in New Zealand since 2011. Our New Zealand subsidiary is known as APM Workcare.

In New Zealand, APM Workcare delivers employment, vocational rehabilitation, injury prevention and management, assessment, allied health and occupational health and safety management services.

We have 12 contracts with the New Zealand Government's Ministry of Social Development to deliver employment services and a national contract with the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) to deliver vocational rehabilitation services.

These services are also provided to third-party administrators (insurers) and small, medium and large employers (including accredited employers).

APM WorkCare has more than 350 staff, contractors and sub-contractors, delivering services to more than 12,000 people per year across New Zealand.

Since 2012, APM WorkCare has assisted more than 24,000 people to return to work after injury or unemployment.
