Michael Anghie (Group Chief Executive Officer)
Michael was born in Sri Lanka and his family migrated to Australia in the early 1970s. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business in 1990 from Curtin University and most recently held a number of senior leadership roles in Australia and overseas at global professional services firm, Ernst & Young. His most recent positions were Managing Partner, Western Australia; Deputy CEO – Australia and New Zealand and Managing Partner, Middle Market, AsiaPacific.
Michael has strong relationships across Government, Corporate and Community groups. He has a Mergers & Acquisitions background and has previously founded a national retail company which listed on the ASX and was subsequently taken over by Coles Myer.
Michael is also involved in a number of not for profits including being Chairman of Celebrate WA (which hosts the WA Day long weekend and Western Australian of the Year Awards for the Government); Director of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Member of CEOs for Gender Equity and an Ambassador for the New Colombo Plan.
Megan Wynne (Founder and Managing Director)
Born and educated in rural Western Australia, Megan graduated from the School of Occupational Therapy at Curtin University in 1987 and was then appointed to Collie District Hospital to establish the first occupational therapy service within the region.
While working in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Royal Perth Rehabilitation Hospital, Megan established a private Occupational Therapy practice at St John of God Hospital in 1990, and subsequently went on to manage the Vocational Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy Services of Perth Pain Management Centre.
Megan established APM in January 1994.
Chris Hadley (Executive Chairman)
Chris is one of the longest serving executives in the Australian Private Equity industry being one of the founding council members of AVCAL. He was appointed Managing Director of BLE Capital in February 1992 taking a hands‐on role in restructuring the business and realisation of the portfolio.
In 1995 he presented a proposal to Westpac leading to the formation of the Quadrant Capital funds and became the CEO of Westpac Private Equity Pty Limited and later Quadrant Private Equity Pty Ltd.
He has led and managed the raising of the ten Quadrant funds and has overseen the Investment Committee of all funds.
Chris has led and managed a number of Quadrant investments and has been a director on many investee boards. Chris is a director of Quadrant investee companies Super A‐Mart/Barbeques Galore, The Entertainment and Education Group, Darrell Lea, Superior Food Group, Rockpool Dining Group, Fitness and Lifestyle Group and Advanced Personnel Management.
Prior to Westpac Private Equity Pty Limited and BLE Capital, Chris was Managing Director of IBA Pty Ltd (1985‐1992), an advisory company owned by Westpac. Prior to this, he worked for Deloitte in Sydney and the UK as a Chartered Accountant.
Chris holds a degree in Finance and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
Alex Eady (Partner)
Alex joined Quadrant Private Equity in March 2008 having spent three years working in mergers and acquisitions with boutique advisory firm Oaktower Partnership and the Ernst & Young Mergers and Acquisitions division.
During this time Alex was involved in a number of transactions advising private equity and mid‐market corporate clients across a range of industries and prior to this spent three years in the Ernst & Young Audit division.
Alex is a director of Quadrant investee companies Superior Food Group, MotorOne, Advanced Personnel Management and Fitzpatrick Financial Group. Alex was formerly a Director of exited Quadrant investee companies Burson Auto Parts, Canberra Data Centres and ZIP Industries.
Alex holds a degree in Commerce and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
