Vocational Rehabilitation Services
APM Workcare is the only provider which holds a national contract with the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) to provide vocational rehabilitation services under the "Stay at Work" program and "Work Ready" services.
We believe that every day counts and as such, services need to be provided in a timely manner, keeping the broader picture of rehabilitation and outcomes in mind.
APM Workcare’s interdisciplinary team has a thorough understanding and working knowledge of rehabilitation needs for injured clients in a wide variety of workplace settings.
APM Workcare provides consultants with ongoing education, training and supervision to ensure best practice is applied in service delivery.
In the period 1 March 2012 to 2 April 2015, APM delivered over 25,000 Stay at Work and Work Ready services throughout NZ.
We operate a mixed service delivery model employing over 100 staff and partner with over 25 carefully selected organisations throughout NZ.
Our partners include specialist rehabilitation providers and others with strong links to tertiary education.
Comprehensive Pain Assessments (CPA)
ACC awarded APM Workcare the CPA contract for the Otago, Southland and Ruapehu regions in March 2015.
APM Workcare’s inter-disciplinary team of occupational medicine and musculoskeletal specialists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, registered nurses and physiotherapists have extensive experience and are well positioned to provide specialised pain services for clients in local communities.
Early intervention is one of the most critical factors in achieving positive return-to-work outcomes, reducing the impact of injury and illness in the workplace.
Our research shows that the likelihood of a successful return to work diminishes significantly where there are delays in referral.

APM Workcare is nationally accredited as an approved vocational rehabilitation provider with the ACC.
We have strong relationships with various government agencies across the country and understand the specific needs of working within the framework of the public sector.
APM Workcare is also a preferred provider for a number of large self-insured licensees under the (accredited) ACC Partnership Programme.
