APM is comprised of a number of different business units which deliver disability, employment, vocational rehabilitation and other health care services.
APM Employment Services
APM supports job seekers to find work and employers to fill vacant positions through the delivery of employment services. Employment services delivered by APM are free for employers – government funding in the form of training and wage subsidies meets the cost of APM's support. Employment services we deliver include:
- Vocational counselling

- Pre-employment screening and assessment
- Employment engagement
- Capacity-building/preparation for work
- Job placement
- Sourcing of workplace modifications (if required)
- Post-placement support
APM offers comprehensive injury prevention and management services. We work with employers and their staff to minimise the personal and business impact of workplace injuries and illness through prevention, education, rehabilitation and training. Injury management services we deliver include:
- Critical incident support
- Workplace rehabilitation
- Return-to-work and redeployment
- Psychological services
- Occupational health and safety
- Risk assessment
- Workplace assessment
APM Assessment Services
APM conducts assessments on people who are unemployed, people who have a disability, people who are injured or in poor health and as part of the aged care services we provide. Allied health professionals which are on APM's staff, such as psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and rehabilitation consultants, provide our assessment services.
APM Health Services
APM has specialised units to deliver employment services for people who suffer health conditions. For example, for people with mental health issues, we deliver the Australian Government's Personal Helpers and Mentors program.
